The newly appointed Transition Committee Chairman for Umuahia South Local Government Area, Engr Neighbor Onwukaike has revealed how he emerged the chairman for Umuahia South council.
Engr Onwukaike while addressing newsmen in his hometown, said sincerity and honesty fetched him the position of a TC chairman.
According to him, the position did not just come to him,but his qualities as well as the hand of God brought the position faster to him.
He said all through his life,he has been touching lives and meeting the needs of those that come around him, appreciating his parents for raising him in that direction.
The Umuahia South boss further pledged his total commitment to the development of the council,pointing out that he would not relent in offering selfless service to his people.
While thanking the Governor for finding him fit to pilot the affairs of the Umuahia South council, Onwukaike, said that as a matter of fact, God used Governor Okezie Ikpeazu to bring his dreams and aspirations to light, calling on his people to ensure they give their support, so that the council could record meaningful development.
