Gov Otti Reaffirms Commitment To Welfare Of Abians, Says Good Governance Is Their Right Not A Privilege

 

Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Otti, has reassured citizens that his Government will remain dedicated to their well-being, guided by his conviction that they deserve nothing less than the best.

 

 

Governor Otti stated this when he received the Prelate of the Eternal Sacred Order of Cherubim and Seraphim Worldwide, His Eminence, Baba Aladura, Dr. David Bobmanuel, at his office in Nvosi Isialangwa South LGA.

 

The Governor reiterated that his Government is focused on creating wealth and lifting the people out of poverty, noting that good governance is the right of the people and not a privilege.

 

 

 

He highlighted his administration’s achievements over the past 21 months, and noted that significant improvements have been made in road infrastructure, Education, Healthcare, Security, Waste Management, Governance Reforms, and the welfare of Workers and Pensioners.

Addressing concerns raised by the church regarding their land in Obingwa LGA, where the Federal Mortgage Bank is currently developing, Governor Otti assured that he would look into the matter to ensure a fair resolution.

He commended the church for its support contributions and prayers and called for continued intercession for his administration, the State, and the Nation.

 

 

Earlier, Prelate Bobmanuel explained that his visit was to familiarize himself with the Governor and inform him about the church’s upcoming centenary anniversary in September 2025.

 

He praised Governor Otti for his exemplary leadership and transformative governance, noting that the administration’s numerous projects stand as a testament to its dedication to Abia’s progress.

 

 

The Prelate who also appealed for the Governor’s intervention in reclaiming the church’s land at Obingwa LGA, where they plan to build an auditorium, expressed gratitude for the appointment of some church members into Government positions.
