In his sermon taken from the book of Psalms chapter 98 verses 1 to 9, the Bishop of the Niger Delta Diocese of the Church of Nigeria, Rev. Dr. Emmanuel Oko-Jaja said it is important to sing a new song for all that the Lord did in the year 2024 as a prelude to 2025.

He said it is necessary to give God thanks for the salvation of mankind and averting every plan of the enemies.

According to him: “God has revealed Himself more than enough in 2024 and that is why we should sing a new song. Because there had been afflictions and conspiracy against you or to someone else, but God says it will not stand, that is why we should sing a new song. It is the reason people are gathered all over the world at this time to sing a new song. This God has put away shame from us, so, we are going to be singing to Him a new song for the great things He has done.
