EPL: Awoniyi Scores As Arsenal Gun Down Forests

Nigeria’s Taiwo Awoniyi scored an 82nd minute goal for Nottingham Forests but could not save his side from succumbing to a 2-1 defeat to Arsenal.

Nketia and Saka gave the Gunners a two goals advantage in the first half, which Awoniyi and his teammates could not equalize.

Arsenal had a perfect start to the season with the victory and more so as it comes on the heels of their Community Shield victory over Manchester City.

However, the Gunners cannot celebrate as they still remember how they led the league for 248 days only to surrender the title to the Citizens.
