Ahead of the People’s Democratic Party(PDP) National Convention where it’s Presidential Candidate for the 2019 presidential election will emerge,Governor of Gombe state and Presidential aspirant,Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo is seeking the support of Abia PDP stakeholders in his presidential bid.
Dankwambo met with the PDP stakeholders at a closed door meeting held at Government House Umuahia where the state Governor,Dr Okezie Ikpeazu was in attendance with other party heavyweights.
The spokesperson and Director General of communications for the Dankwambo presidential campaign organization, Dr. Ade Adewopo who spoke to journalists disclosed that they were in Abia state to canvass support ahead of the National Convention slated to hold on October.
According to him, “we want them to see reasons why the candidature of Dr Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo is important to Nigerians and for Nigeria. It is a reason why there should be a change in the face of government.
“Dankwambo is the face of the new Nigerian,the promise that Nigeria has always wanted. He was born after 1960 so he’s a child of independence. He understands what Nigeria and Nigerians are going through having gathered experiences in both the public and private sectors “.
