Lobi Stars of Makurdi have been placed in a very tough group in this season’s CAF Champions League. The Nigerian side have been drawn in group A against 2017 champions, Wydad Casablanca of Morocco, ASEC Mimosas of Ivory Coast and Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa.
Group B comprises of FC Platinum, Horoya, defending champions Esperance of Tunisia and Orlando Pirates.
TP Mazembe, Club Africain, CS Constantine and Ismaily will fight for glory in group C.
Group D will see Al-Ahly, Simba, JS Saoura and AS Vita Club fight to finish.
