Anyaso Urges Accountability, Civic Awareness in June Message

The Labour Party candidate for Bende Federal Constituency in the 2027 general election, Dr. Chimaobi Desmond Anyaso, popularly known as Ofuji, has called on Nigerians to embrace greater civic consciousness and demand accountability from leaders as the nation moves closer to another political season.

In a goodwill message issued on Monday to mark the beginning of the month of June, Dr. Anyaso congratulated the people of Bende Local Government Area, Abia State, and Nigerians in general for witnessing a new month despite the economic and social difficulties facing the country.

He expressed gratitude to God for His blessings and for sustaining the nation through the challenges recorded so far in the year, while acknowledging the growing hardship and declining living conditions affecting many citizens.

According to the Bende Federal Constituency hopeful, the commencement of a new month provides an opportunity for reflection on the state of the nation and the importance of responsible leadership in shaping the lives of the people.

“As we enter June, let us remember that leadership decisions have consequences. The quality of leadership we choose ultimately shapes the quality of life we live,” he stated.

Dr. Anyaso urged Nigerians to become more involved in the democratic process by paying closer attention to those seeking public office, scrutinising their records, and supporting leaders based on competence and proven performance rather than mere promises.

He stressed that the emergence of a better Nigeria depends largely on an informed and vigilant citizenry willing to make responsible choices for the future of the country.

The Labour Party chieftain further wished the people of Bende, Abia State and Nigerians across the country a peaceful, productive and fulfilling month of June, expressing optimism that the nation would overcome its present challenges through unity, responsible leadership and collective commitment to progress.
