Abia Eze-Elect Nduwuisi Lauds Gov Otti Over First-Ever General Hospital In Ukwa-East

Ahead of the flag-off of the General Hospital at Ohanku Ndoki in Ukwa-East LGA, the Eze-Elect of Obohia Ndoki, Chief Ugochukwu John Nduwuisi has lauded the initiative of Governor Alex Otti, describing it as a timely intervention that will meet the pressing healthcare needs of the people.

The General Hospital to be sited at Ohanku Ndoki, is considered the first of its kind in Ukwa-East and a significant milestone in the area’s history. Residents say the project represents a long-awaited response to decades of neglect in critical infrastructure, especially in the health sector, since the return of democratic governance in Abia.

Speaking ahead of the official ceremony, Chief Nduwuisi expressed profound gratitude to Governor Otti for what he described as living up to his billings and campaign promises. He noted that the people of Ukwa-East feel remembered and fully integrated into the state’s development agenda.

Chief Nduwuisi stresses that, such a colossal project being sited at Ohanku Ndoki is not just a health facility, but a symbol of hope, inclusion and purposeful leadership. It signals that our people matter and that government presence is now being felt in practical terms.

The Obohia Royal Father-Elect also commended Governor Otti for his broader developmental strides across Abia State, noting visible improvements in infrastructure, public service delivery and institutional reforms. He described the administration’s efforts as deliberate and impactful.
