The Senior Special Adviser to the Governor on Due Process and Public Procurement, Dr Oluebube Chukwu has lauded Governor Alex Otti’s infrastructure revolution across Abia’s three Senatorial zones, calling it a true reflection of effective leadership.

Dr Chukwu who gave the commendation during the official flag off ceremony for reconstruction of the long-neglected 41.4 Kilometre Ohafia-Arochukwu Federal Road, commended Governor for his unwavering commitment to transforming the State’s infrastructural landscape.

He stated that the road reconstruction will be a significant milestone in the socio-economic development of the Ohafia and Arochukwu communities, who have endured decades of neglect due to the deplorable condition of the road previously abandoned by successive administrations under the pretext that it was a federal responsibility.

The flag-off of the Ohafia-Arochukwu road reconstruction, coupled with simultaneous road projects across the three Senatorial zones, demonstrates Governor Otti’s visionary leadership and dedication to equitable development.

“I applaud Governor Otti’s unwavering commitment to Abia’s development and his commitment to the well-being of Abia citizens.

“Under Governor Otti’s leadership, Abia State is indeed on the path to greatness”, Chukwu stated.

Dr Chukwu emphasized that the poor condition of the road had severely impacted access to the Abia State College of Education (Technical), Arochukwu (ASCETA) thereby hampering its growth and development.

He however noted that with the road now under reconstruction, ASCETA, alongside other institutions and businesses in the area would experience a new lease of life.

He therefore urged citizens to support Governor Otti’s administration by paying their taxes and statutory levies, assuring that their contributions would be used to fund critical projects that would enhance their collective wellbeing.
