3MTT Hosts Workout To Drive Digital Awareness

 

The Federal Government 3Million Technical Talent (3MTT) Training Abia Sate Community has hosted a workout session to create a state-based awareness and to encourage Abia Youths to embrace Technology as a basic requirement to thrive in the digital age.

 

 

The awareness which took place in Aba and Umuahia had the Aba squad led by the Special Assistant to the Governor on Digital Economy Ms. Chibuzor Elizabeth Chijioke and Abia Community Manager Ms. Justina Nwokedi match from Innovation Growth Hub to the City of Aba with banners reading “Abia Techies Workout” while their Umuahia counterpart led by the 3MTT Abia Cohort 2 Assistant Leader Ms. Eucharia Luke matched from Shoprite to Government House Umuahia.

Speaking at the match, the Special Assistant to the Governor on Digital Economy Ms. Chibuzor Elizabeth Chijioke charged the participants to embrace the learning journey and maximize the opportunity in order to contribute to the digital development of the state.

 

She also thanked the Governor, Dr. Alex Otti for his commitment to transforming Abia into a Technology and Digital center of Africa.

 

Ms. Chijioke also appreciated the support of the Minister of Communication, Innovation and Digital Economy Dr, Bosun Tijani, and the Honourable Commissioner for Digital Economy and SME Dr. Matthew Ekwuruibe, among others for the support towards the success of the programme.

In her reaction, the 3 Million Technical Talent (3MTT) Abia Community Manager, Ms Justina Nwokedi said the aim of the awareness is to get the Abia residents to sign up for the 3MMT and join their community.

 

 

Highlight of the programme included , networking among the participants, a physical meet-up to hold in the Ministry of Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation Umuahia on Friday 3rd May 2024 by 9 am, and a charge to members to tell people about the initiative and encourage them to visit the site 3mtt.nitda.gov.ng for registration and more enquiries.
