UNN Alumni Urge Governors to Embrace Eno’s Sustainable Policy Approach

Members of the National Association of the University of Nigeria Alumni have urged Nigerian governors to emulate Governor Umo Eno’s model of policy sustainability and project continuity in Akwa Ibom State.

The association made the call over the weekend during its annual convention in Uyo, where delegates visited the ARISE Palm Resort as part of their official engagements.

The delegates were conducted around the resort’s facilities by the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Research and Documentation, Dr. Essien Ndueso.

Speaking during the visit, the National President of the Alumni Association, Lady Doris Okoro, PhD, praised the Akwa Ibom State Government for its innovative approach to infrastructure development. She described it as a model for transforming environmental challenges into economic opportunities.

Lady Okoro noted that the area, once threatened by erosion, has been transformed into a functional resort through strategic engineering and planning.
