Hon. NWANKPA IN UNIFORM WITH MGBOKO AMATO OBETE COMMUNITY SCHOOL.
Mgboko Amato Obete, Community Primary School in Obingwa Local Government Area of Abia State has received a complete set of band, school uniform, sandals, dozens of exercise book and set of socks for it pupils.
Honourable Obinna Nwankpa, who made the donations says it does not take much to give back to the society.
According to Nwankpa, “the day I saw a pupil in my former school putting on torn cloth, it did not augur well with me and I knew that something need to be done.
This whole abnormalities in my community gave birth to Excellent Global Foundation.
Through this foundation we have been able to provide wrappers, foodstuffs for the widows, pay school fees for pupils and we are expanding to provide employment through skills acquisition to tackle unemployment in our society”
“You know, people think that it is only when you have enough that you start giving, it is not like that, you can start by sharing the little God blesses you with and the big one will come.
I was motivated to give back because this school made me what I am today” Nwankpa said.
In his address, the Sole Administrator of Abia State Oil Producing Area Development Commission(ASOPADEC) and Chairman on the occasion, Barrister Henry Chilaka praise the efforts of Honourable Nwankpa and his foundation finding a problem in his community to solve and for his support for pupils within his community.
In his remarks, the Chairman Obingwa Local Government Council, Mrs. Uloma Nwogu said that what we are seeing in other clime has happened here today in community and we thank God for Honourable Nwankpa’s support to the pupils.
“This will motivate the children to learn well and I enjoin well meaning sons and daughters of the community to emulate Nwankpa”.
However, the former chairman of Obingwa LGA, Barrister Obinna Nwabiaraije who inaugurated board members for the foundation said that Excellent Global Foundation has come to stay with the vision of proffering solution in the society.
