Gov Fubara Hails Soboma Jackrich At Birthday 

Rivers State, Governor Siminalayi Fubara has lauded Niger Delta ex-freedom fighter and politician, Soboma Jackrich, for his charitable commitment to improving the lives of his people.

Gov. Fubara gave the commendation to Jackrich yesterday, Sunday, January 19, 2025. In his speech as the guest of honour in Isoku community, Degema Local Government Area where the host delivered a road project he had privately funded to ease movement among his people as he clocked another year in his life.

Explaining the significance of the birthday event and the road charity, the governor told guests at the occasion that it was a wonderful moment to be with the celebrant on his birthday.

“Our celebrant – Jackrich – is not just celebrating his birthday, but he is also giving back to the society. So I join him and well-meaning people that believe in his cause to commission this project he has embarked on his own for the betterment of his people.”

The governor said with the road there are few things that his government can do to make the project more meaningful to the people. And an important addition would be street lights to brighten up the road.

Gov. Fubara assured, “We are going to support him to complete this, by adding the street lights. But in all, we give God the glory and we hereby commission this road to the glory of God”
