All is now set for the flag-off of the reconstruction of Igwu Omenuko Bridge in Arochukwu LGA.
Speaking at the event site, the SSG, Prof. Kenneth Kalu, expressed satisfaction with the level of preparation so far, adding that the people of Abam are happy and are fully ready to welcome the Governor.
Prof. Kalu maintained that the reconstruction of the bridge is very significant, as it has claimed lives in the past.
He appreciated the Governor and pledged the continued support of Abam people to the present administration.
Also speaking, the member representing Arochukwu state constituency in the state House of Assembly and Majority Leader, Mr. Uchenna Okoro, expressed joy that the present administration has come to reconstruct the bridge, which, according to him, is very strategic as it cuts across Ohafia, Arochukwu, Akwa Ibom, among other major towns within and outside the state.
