Enweremadu Commissions Building For NYSC Members, Gives Out Five Million Naira As Empowerment

 

The Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon Christopher Enweremadu, has commissioned a four bedroom bungalow fully built and furnished for Corps members, posted to Amaorji Community for their compulsory National Youth Service.
The Commissioner also doled out the sum of five million naira as business start-up to fifty indigenes of Ahiaba Ubi  and Amaorji communities in Isialangwa North Local Government Area of Abia State.

At a stop in Ahiaba Ubi Ukwu, where twenty-five (25)sons and daughters of the area were carefully selected to benefit the sum of a hundred thousand naira each, having met the criteria for the selection, the Hon Commissioner, commended the people of Ahiaba Ubi for their relentless support, particularly, to the PDP led government in Abia, assuring them of government partnership.
He also enjoined the people of the area to vote massively for all PDP candidates in the 2023 polls, stressing that they should guide against the idea or any politician canvassing for a selective pattern of voting in the forthcoming general election.
Meanwhile,the Hon Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, hailed all PDP candidates in the state, describing them as the most qualified, prepared, tested and trusted, among other contenders.
In their Speeches, the Local Government Area party chairman, Elder Sam Esindu and the General Manager of Abia State Signage and advertising agency, Hon Tony Otuonye,who extolled the examplary leadership style of Sir Prince Enweremadu, equally called on the people of Ahiaba Ubi not to be swayed by the deceptive tendencies of members of the opposition, whose presence to their area are only felt when elections are close, and urged them to vote PDP all the way.
Similarly, the Commissioner stopped over at Amaorji community in Isialangwa North Local Government Area to  commission a four bedroom bungalow,built and furnished for corps members who are being posted to Amaorji community.
Sir Enweremadu reminded the people that the building of Corpers lodge was  in fulfillment of his earlier promise made to them, following their request for the provision of an accommodation to solve the housing challenges been faced by Corp members posted to the area.
He also berated those championing for selective pattern of voting in next year’s general elections, describing such, as the handiwork of few selfish political mischief makers who are bent on holding on to power at all cost,  cautioning that such idea would derail the chances of Prof Uche Ikonne’s emergence as the next Abia governor, therefore,it should be rejected.
The Commissioner further informed  the people to vote all the candidates of the People’s Democratic Party from State House of Assembly to House of Representatives,Senate, Governorship,as well as Presidency, stressing that the PDP guber candidate in Abia, would help to reposition the state by putting it on the fast lane of development and as well, consolidate on the foundations laid by the previous administrations.
Hon Enweremadu, however, beckoned on the people to give their unflinching support to the Presidential candidate of the PDP, for a better Nigeria.
While giving out the financial assistance to the indigenes of the two communities,Ahiaba Ubi and Amaorji, the Commissioner urged the indigenes of Ahiaba Ubi and Amaoji not to relent in their continuous support to the governor, adding that, he decided to carry out the empowerment program as part of his bid to uplift the situation of his people, stressing that he did all what he did through the grace of God.
Responding earlier,the President General of Amaorji Development Union,Elder Chinmaobi Nwabuoku, commended Sir Enweremadu for keeping to his promise, maintaining that the gesture alone would impact positively,as it would ease the challenges of accomodation the corps members go through anytime a new batch is posted to the area, and as well, boost the development rate, likewise the teaching and learning condition of the area, promising that the people of Amorji have resolved to vote for PDP all the way.

Also speaking, a youth leader from the community, Mr. Uchenna Akwarandu, as well as Mr. Akajiaku Nwosu, were full of praises for the show of love been extended to the people of Amorji by Rt. Hon Sir Christopher Enweremadu and prayed God to grant him his desires.
The highpoint of the event was the formal commissioning of the corper’s lodge, as well as the distribution of the sum of five million naira to fifty small business owners from the two communities, with each beneficiary parting home with the sum of one hundred thousand Naira.
The event attracted many dignitaries, including the Deputy Chairman of Isiala Ngwa North, Hon Chuks Amaike, the Leader, Isiala Ngwa North legislative council, Hon Chimaobi Alozu and members of the legislative council, the General Manager of Abia State Signage and Advertisement Agency, Hon Tony Otuonye, the PDP chairman for Isiala Ngwa North, Elder Sam Esindu, the chairman Civil service commission, Elder Victor Azumara among others.
