Do Not To Be Deterred By Detractors, Rivers Women Charged

The Convener of Rivers Women Unite for SIM, Sotonye Toby Fulton has charged Rivers Women not to be deterred by the antics of the enemies of the State who are bent on causing mayhem in the State for selfish interests.

Sotonye Toby Fulton stated this at the inauguration of the Etche chapter of Rivers Women Unite for SIM and its monthly prayer meetings in Okehi on Thursday.

The Converner noted that the administration of Governor Siminalayi Fubara is all about the people’s interest first and the women have no reason to stay back but to stand in prayer for the governor to succeed, stressing that they must not allow the devil to creep into their midst as their fervent prayers have truly helped the governor to move the State forward.

While commending the women of Etche for showing forth in prayer for God to take charge of the affairs of the State under Governor Fubara, she also thanked the CTC Chairman of the LGA, Hon. John Otamiri Esq for his support to women in the LGA and urged him not to relent.

On his part, the CTC Chairman of Etche LGA, Hon. John Otamiri Esq applauded the Convener of RWUS and Etche women for turning out in their numbers to pray for the administration of Sir Siminalayi Fubara, describing him as the man who God is using to liberate Rivers State, assuring that Etche people have resolved to support him to succeed.

The Coordinators of Rivers Women Unite for SIM, Etche chapter, Mrs. Amonia Nwuke and Barr. Glory Akor in their separate speeches, thanked the Convener and other officers of the group for standing firm in the face of oppression and intimidation against the governor and Rivers people.

They further thanked the governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara for being resolute to defend Rivers people and assure of the prayers and support of Etche women at all times for him to succeed.
