BREAKING: Gov Ikpeazu Suspends GM Abia Tourism Board, Atulomah

The Abia state Governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu has order the suspension of the General Manager (GM), Ms Jackie O. Atulomah from office with immediate effect.

In a release signed by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Barr. Chris Ezem, the former tourism board boss is to hand over to the Commissioner for Culture and Tourism Barr. Tony Nwamuo till further notice.

The removal of Ms Atulomah may be in connection of with the unchecked romance with opposition groups in the state recently.

Information gathered revealed that Ms Atulomah has recently been sighted with All People’s Grand Alliance (APGA) Gubernatorial candidate, Prof. Gregory Ibe, Young People’s Party (YPP) Deputy Gubernatorial candidate, Mr. Chima Desmond Anyaso among core opposition parties in the state.

A source that pleaded anonymity with National Ambassador, said that Atulomah has been engaging with impunity, anti party activities publicly on social media while holding political appointment with People’s Democratic Party (PDP) led administration in Abia.

Government Special Announcement.

The Governor of Abia State Dr Okezie Victor Ikpeazu has directed the immediate suspension of Atuloma Onyedikachi Jackie as General Manager, Abia State Tourism Board.

To this end, the Hon. Commissioner for Culture and Tourism is to take over all activities of the Board till further notice.
