Anyaso Wins Bende Reps Ticket Thanks Labour Party Faithful

Abia-born businessman and Labour Party candidate for the Bende Federal House of Representatives seat in the 2027 general election, Dr. Chimaobi Desmond Anyaso, popularly known as Ofuji, has expressed appreciation to party faithful across Bende Federal Constituency following his emergence as the party’s flagbearer.

Dr. Anyaso secured the Labour Party ticket after being overwhelmingly endorsed through a voice vote at his Igbere Ward A primary before proceeding to the party’s collation centre in Bende, where over 20,000 party members and supporters reportedly affirmed his candidature in a massive show of solidarity and confidence.

In a statement issued shortly after the conclusion of the primary exercise, Anyaso described his emergence as a victory for the people of Bende and all Labour Party faithful committed to the collective vision of progress, unity, and people-oriented representation.

He thanked party leaders, stakeholders, delegates, ward executives, youths, women groups, and supporters across the constituency for their unwavering support throughout the process.

“I am profoundly grateful to every member of our great party who stood with us during this journey. Your overwhelming support and confidence in our shared vision have further strengthened my resolve to serve our people with humility, integrity, and dedication,” he stated.

“This mandate is not about one individual; it represents the collective aspirations of our people for quality representation, accelerated development, and a brighter future for Bende. I remain committed to justifying the confidence reposed in me,” he added.

Anyaso further called for unity among party members and supporters ahead of the 2027 general election, expressing confidence that the Labour Party would build on the success recorded during the primaries to secure victory at the polls.
