Labour Party candidate for Bende Federal Constituency, Dr. Chimaobi Desmond Anyaso, has received a warm reception from members of the Igbere Welfare Union (IWU), Canada Branch, during his ongoing visit to Toronto.
Anyaso was received by members of the union led by Engr. Nd Uche, Chairman of Lekota Hotel, Aba, alongside other prominent members of the Igbere community resident in Canada.
The gathering provided an opportunity for members of the Igbere diaspora community to welcome the Bende Federal Constituency aspirant and engage with him on his plans and aspirations ahead of the 2027 election.
The union members also expressed their support for his aspiration to represent Bende in the House of Representatives.
Anyaso, who is contesting on the platform of the Labour Party, has continued to emphasise people-centred representation, effective service and development as key priorities of his political agenda.
The Toronto engagement forms part of his ongoing interactions with Ndi Bende and other stakeholders at home and in the diaspora ahead of the 2027 election.
