Aide Affirms Gov Otti’s Focus on Citizen Safety …Calls for Collective Responsibility in Securing Umunneochi LGA

The Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Due Process and Public Procurement Dr. Oluebube Chukwu, has affirmed the Governor Alex Otti led administration’s unwavering dedication to ensuring the safety of all citizens and residents in the state.

Chukwu made the assertion when he received delegation from Ngodo Town Development Union, Umunneochi LGA, who paid him a courtesy visit in his office at Government House Umuahia.

Highlighting the recent launch of Governor Otti’s security initiative codenamed “Operation Crush,” Chukwu emphasized that the program is a vital component of the present administration’s campaign promises to secure Abia State.

Chukwu assured that the Governor Otti led administration is fully committed to implementing positive measures that will further enhance the security of lives and properties throughout the state and called on citizens to actively support the state government’s efforts in building a new Abia where everyone can take pride.

Describing security as a collective responsibility, Chukwu urged the people of Umunneochi LGA to remain vigilant, abide by the laws of the land, and promptly report any security threats to the relevant security agencies across the state.

He reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring that the much-needed benefits of democracy reach the people of Umunneochi under the current administration of Governor Alex Otti.

Earlier in their separate speeches, President of the Ngodo Town Union, Chief Fred Maduka and
the former Deputy Chairman, Umunneochi Local Government Area, Asagwaram Osinachi commended their son, Dr.Oluebube Chukwu for his pivotal role in ensuring the current state of security and the reopening of the Ihube road, which has greatly improved transportation in the area.

They further encouraged Dr. Chukwu to wield his influence and work assiduously towards bringing pride to Ngodo community and Umunneochi LGA at large emphasizing the importance of leaving a lasting legacy for the benefit of future generations.
