Staff Of the civil service
commission have been charged to see themselves as key players in the rebuilding agenda of the present administration.
The secretary to the state government, prof Kenneth Kalu who gave the charge during a working visit to the commission, stressed the need for them to work assiduously and diligently in the discharge of their duties for a better state.
Prof Kalu who noted that their roles cannot be over emphasized enjoined them to always work in unity of purpose in the implementation of the government policies.
The SSG who reminded them of Gov Alex Otti ‘s giant strides in repositioning the state civil service and Abia in general urged them to reciprocate his good gesture by working efficiently in realizing the vision of the present administration.
In her opening remarks, the chairman, civil service commission, Dr (Mrs) Eno Jerry who expressed her profound gratitude to the SSG prof Kenneth Kalu for the Visit, disclosed that the staff of the commission are hardworking and diligent in the discharge of their duties.
Dr Jerry appreciated the Governor, Dr Alex Otti for
his giant strides in state and civil service, especially, the provision of a new office complex, office equipment, among others pledged their unalloyed support to the present administration.
In her contribution, the commissioner 2, Dr Mrs chioma Orikara appreciated Governor, Dr Alex Otti for making them part of the rebuilding agenda of the state.
The permanent secretary, Mrs Ekaete, thanked the SSG for visiting them and assured him that the staff will continue to do their best.
The event featured interactive section while the permanent secretary office of the SSG Dr Godwin Okezue and the Senior special Assistant to the Governor on Due process Dr Oluebube Chukwu accompanied the SSG on the visit.
