Fubara Distributes More Transformers To Communities In Obio-Akpor

Governor Siminalayi Joseph Fubara has continued to distribute more Electricity transformers to communities in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area (LGA) of Rivers State.

The LGA where the immediate Governor of Rivers State and incumbent Minister of the F.C.T, hailed from, is getting brand-new transformers from the Fubara-led administration to ensure at least 18 hours of power supply as promised by the SIM Fubara-led Rivers State Government.

Recall that Governor Sim Fubara donated a transformer in August 2024 to Rumuepirikom, the community of the F.C.T Minister. Today, Ozuoba, another community in Obio/Akpor, precisely the Majesty Estate axis, received a brand-new 500 KVA transformer as a New Year gift from the promise-keeping Governor of Rivers State, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, GSSRS.

Presenting the transformer, the Honourable Commissioner for Power, Rivers State, Prince Solomon Abel Eke, hinted that the Governor had mandated the ministry to ensure the transformer was delivered and installed owing to the genuine request of residents within that axis. He added that, despite the fact that this was the responsibility of PHED, the Governor, being a compassionate leader, had taken care of all costs, including the installation of the transformer.

Earlier, the Commissioner for Power, Hon. Solomon Eke, also delivered another 500 KVA generator to the Warmate House Office Complex which serves as offices for the Rivers State Primary Health Care Board and the Rivers State Contributory Health Protection Program (RIVCHPP).
