All is now set for the burial of late Elder Azubuike Erondu in his hometown; Azuogwugwu Umuaro Village, Mgboko Umuanunu Ancient Kingdom, Obingwa Local Government Area (LGA), Abia State on November 28 and 29 2024.
The Christian wake-keep/night of tributes has been slated to hold on Thursday, November 28, while the interment holds on Friday November 29, 2024.
Dignitaries, guests and hundreds of mourners have started arriving Abia State for this event.
Security has been beef up within Umuaro and its surrounding.
According to family sources, Azubuike Erondu who is the first son of the family of Late Pa Lazarus Erondu, died on June 2, 2024 after a brief illness at the age of 54.
Meanwhile, the Chairman, House Committee on Public Service, Abia State House of Assembly (ABHA), and the younger brother to the deceased, Erondu Uchenna Erondu Jnr, has thanked friends and well-wishers for the show of love and goodwill messages to the family in these trying times.
He noted that the death of his Elder brother was one that has traumatized him, the entire Erondu family and the community, owing to his immense heart of love for everyone irrespective of age, gender, religious and political divide.
