Over 68 youth presidents and secretaries from Ogba-Egbema-Ndoni Local Government Area have thrown their weight behind Hon. Dr. Kingsley Ogu as their candidate for the upcoming October 5 LGA elections.
During a solidarity visit to Dr. Kingsley Ogu at his country home in Ogbogu, the group’s spokesperson, Comrade Sunny Odeyi emphasized the unanimous decision to back Dr. Ogu. “Our endorsement is based on his dynamic leadership and proven track record, especially as a former youth president in his own community. We believe Dr. Ogu’s leadership will ensure that the youth are actively involved in all aspects of governance,” Odeyi stated.
Dr. Kingsley Ogu, visibly moved by the endorsement, expressed his gratitude to the forum. He urged the youth leaders to continue their support for His Excellency, Governor Siminalayi Fubara, citing his dedication to people-centered governance as a model for leadership.
With this strong backing from ONELGA’s youth leadership, Dr. Ogu’s candidacy is gathering significant momentum ahead of the elections.
