2023 Abia PDP Guber Candidate, Prof Ikonne Extol Dame Adanma, Unveils Book

The 2023 People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Governorship Candidate, in Abia State, Prof. Uche E. Ikonne has extolled the late Dame Adanma Okpara, describing her as a virtuous woman.

Prof. Ikonne who disclosed this during the memorial service of wife of former Premier, Eastern Nigeria, Dame Adanma Enyidiya Okpara at St Michael’s Methodist Church, Umuegwu Okpuala Afugiri Umuahia, Abia State, added that her supportive roles would be greatly missed.

Unveiling a book written by the son of the late first lady, Chief Uzodinma Okpara in honour of Late Dame Okpara, at the event, Ikonne noted that she raised many great men in Nigeria.

Prof Ikonne who was represented by his Deputy, Hon. Barr. Okey Igwe, further maintained that the legacies left behind by Dame Adanma Okpara as would be of great value for this generation and next generations.

Chris Ezem, The Former Prelate of Methodist Church Nigeria His Eminence, Dr Samuel Kanu Uche, a hosts of Bishops, the Book Reviewer, the Vice Chancellor (VC), Michael Okpara University of Agriculture Umudike (MOUAU), Prof Maduebibisi Ofo Iwe, Former VC, FUNAI, Prof Chinedu Nwajiuba, Chief of Staff to Abia State Governor, Chief Okey Ahiwe, CMD, FMC, Umuahia, Dr. Azubuike Onyebuchi, Col. Austin Akobundu (Rtd), Amb. Empire Kalu, Chief Onyema Ugochukwu, Chief Stanley Ojigbo, Secretary, Uche Ndi Abia Campaign Organization, Deputy Directors of the Campaign Organization and hosts of others were in attendance.
