We Have Made Abia, Safe Haven For Investors – Sir Oko Chukwu

 

 

Abia State Deputy Governor, Sir Ude Oko Chukwu says the present administration will continue to provide an enabling environment for investors to thrive in their business ventures in the State.

 

Sir. Oko Chukwu stated this while commissioning the Silver View Hotels and Suites, a hospitality industry built by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Police Affairs and Chairman, Police Community Relations Committe ( PCRC) Zone 9, Umuahia, Chief. Collins Obi held at Silver View Street , Umuovum Nkata Ibeku in Umuahia North LGA.

The Deputy Governor represented by the SSG, Barr. Chris Ezem commended the Managing Director of the Hotel, Chief Collins Obi for adding to the hospitality industry in the State which will not only create employment and reduce youths restiveness but help increase the IGR of the State.

He reiterated Government’s clarion call on Abians both in the State and Diaspora to come back home and invest especially with the growing influx of people to the State as a result of Abia adjudged as one of the safest States in the country and prayed that the hospitality outfit will be positively used for the benefit of all.

In his remarks, the Managing Director if Silver View Hotels and Suites and Special Adviser to the Governor on Police Affairs, Chief Collins Obi said he wants to give back to the state and reduce unemployment and create a positive image for the State through his hospitality business.

Chief Obi who is also the Chairman Police Community Relations Committe PCRC zone 9,Umuahia said he is also overwhelmed with joy having the Grace to celebrate another glorious year and dedicated his birthday to the Governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu for his love and support which have enable him achieved so much in the State.

The event featured cutting of the birthday cake by the celebrant attended by Top Government Officials and other notable personalities.
