The state Head of Service, Mrs Ngozi Obioma says the role of Abia workforce in achieving efficient, effective and virile civil service cannot be over-emphasized.
Mrs Obioma who stated this while addressing staff of the head of service, described human resource as the highest resource in achieving success in other spheres of productivity.
She saw her appointment as a call to higher responsibility, adding that her Hallmark is to bring back dignity in the service as well as contribute her quota to the rebuilding process of the new Abia and warned against using foul languages and maintained that civil servants must know their rules and regulations in order to achieve efficiency.
She warned against indecent dressing and other dressings that might negate code of conduct in service and assured that she will put in her best in protecting their interest.
Speaking on behalf of the staff, office of the head of service, the director in charge Bureau of Common Services and Service Monitoring, Comrade David Nmerole, pledged their unalloyed support and corporation with the head of service and their willingness to support Government programmes and policies.
