NAWOJ Tasked To Show Professionalism in Their Reportage

Women journalists have been called upon to show high level of professionalism in the discharge of their duties.

 

The Secretary to Abia State Government, Professor Kenneth Kalu who stated this when the Executive members of the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists, paid a courtesy call to his office said that the present administration places premium on hard work, sincerity of purpose and dedication to duty .

 

Prof Kalu urged them to support government in the rebuilding agenda by being objective and sincere in their reportage to realize the Abia of our dream.

In her address, the chairperson (NAWOJ) Abia state, Comrade Josephine Ogwo, assured the present administration of the support of the union and congratulated the Governor, Dr. Alex Otti for his landslide Victory during the last election and for appointing an erudite scholar Professor Kalu as the chief scribe of the State.

 

She enumerated some of their activities to include reaching out to the less privileged and the vulnerable, especially now that the yuletide is fast approaching among others, while  soliciting the support of the Government to enable them sponsor twenty of their members to their 2023 delegates Conference in Abuja
