Juventus Reach Coppa Italia Final Despite Ronaldo’s Penalty Miss

Juventus qualified for the final of this season’s Coppa Italia despite being held goalless at home by AC Milan.

The Turin side progressed on the away goals rule after they played out a 1-1 draw in the first leg played at the San Siro on February 13.

The match which marked the commencement of football action in Italy after the Corona virus pandemic saw Cristiano Ronaldo miss a penalty awarded for handball.

Despite the visitors being reduced to ten men on the 16th minute when Ante Rebic of Croatia was sent-off for a foul on Danilo, the Italian champions could not find the back of the net.

Juventus will play Wednesday’s final against Inter Milan or Napoli.

Napoli will take 1-0 lead into their second leg semi-finals against Inter Milan later today.
