Fmr Abia Governor, Ikpeazu, Inducted As Fellow, Nigerian Society of Biochemistry

Former Governor of Abia State, Okezie Victor Ikpeazu, PhD has been inducted into the College of Fellows of the Nigerian Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.

The induction ceremony which took place today at the University of Port Harcourt was in recognition of Dr. Ikpeazu’s contribution to the body of knowledge of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.

 

 

 


Speaking at the investiture, Dr. Ikpeazu thanked the body for such recognition, adding that he would continue to use everything at his disposal towards advancing teaching and research in the field of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology

Dr. Ikpeazu boast of a robust academic background, holding Bachelor’s, Masters and Doctorate degrees in different areas of Biochemistry.

He has also taught Biochemistry at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in different Nigerian universities before the call to provide quality leadership for Abians as the state governor.

Dr. Ikpeazu would soon to attain Professorship in the field having over 80 scientific articles published in different local and international journals to his credit.

The erudite scholar, is also a co-author of the book: “The Biochemistry Of Environmental Pollution”.
He is also a Fellow of the Nigeria Environmental Society among others.
