Eno Submits APC Nomination Form, Solicits Support for 2027 Re-Election Bid

Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, has submitted his nomination form for the All Progressives Congress (APC) primaries ahead of the 2027 gubernatorial election.

The governor also called for maximum support from APC faithful to help him secure a second term in office.

This was contained in a press statement issued by the Akwa Ibom State Media Unit.

Speaking with members of the Government House Press Corps at the Victor Attah International Airport, Governor Eno said most of the projects initiated by his administration would be completed during his second tenure.

He explained that his decision to seek re-election was driven by the need to consolidate and expand ongoing projects across the state, noting that some of the initiatives could not be completed within the remaining period of the current administration.

“We will continue to pray, trust in God, and remain committed to serving our people. But you can see clearly that there is still so much work on the ground. Many of the projects we have started will not be fully completed within this term.

“That is why we are asking for another mandate to drive home these initiatives and consolidate on the progress already made for the benefit of our people,” he said.

The governor also appreciated the people of the state for their unwavering support over the past three years and expressed hope that such support would continue through the remaining year of his first term and into a second tenure.
