Bianca Ojukwu Hails Gov. Eno’s Holistic Development Drive

Nigeria’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu, has described Governor Umo Eno’s approach to development in Akwa Ibom State as holistic, impactful, and worthy of emulation.

Speaking in Uyo on Saturday after touring several landmark projects across the state, the minister commended the governor’s vision and commitment to sustainable development. The projects visited included the ARISE Palm Resort, Ibom Convention Centre, Ibom Hotel, Medical City, and the Senior Citizens Centre.

Ambassador Odumegwu-Ojukwu, who is in Akwa Ibom for an orientation seminar organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Ambassadors-Designate to West African countries, described Governor Eno as a visionary leader dedicated to transforming the fortunes of his people.

She expressed admiration for the quality and scale of projects executed by the current administration.

“From what I have seen on the ground since my arrival in Akwa Ibom State, I can confidently describe Governor Umo Eno as a phenomenal and intentional leader,” she said.

The minister particularly praised the creativity and foresight behind the transformation of a previously desolate gully into the ARISE Palm Resort, describing the initiative as remarkable. She also lauded the administration’s commitment to completing previously abandoned projects across the state, noting that such efforts demonstrate courage, determination, and responsible governance.

Ambassador Odumegwu-Ojukwu and her team were conducted round the project sites by the Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Welfare, Mrs Inibehe Silas, alongside other state government officials.
