The President of Azumini Welfare Association (AWA) Elder Azubuike Nwankwo has poured encomium on the leadership of Azumini Interim Central Youth body over her activities in the past few days.
The president was captured dancing joyously as he made a brief stopover in Azumini earlier While thanking God that Azumini is gradually restoring its lost glory and repositioning itself to its rightful place in Ndoki communities, he went ahead to dish out accolades on the leadership of the Azumini Central Youth body ably led by Engr. Chinedum Ekeke, whom he described as a _round peg fit in a round hole.
He continued by calling on all Azumini Youths both at home and in the diaspora to rally support for the Leadership of the Azumini Central Youths to enable them to achieve more.
X-raying the numerous achievements of the reconstituted Youth Body within this short period leaves every lover of Azumini only recounting in regret the setbacks the singular action of dissolving the Central Youth Body has cost us as a community.
The President indignantly berated the trajectory; yet unchallenged rise in criminal activities in the community in recent times; despite having a constituted security outfit, he then promised a closer monitoring of the activities of the Azumini Security Outfit (Ichie) going forward.
Conclusively, he sent a stern warning to all unscrupulous elements with high penchants for crime to retract and retrace their steps or leave Azumini Community peacefully, as it is obvious that there is a new sheriff with a zero tolerance for crime in the town
