In keeping with the biblical mandate to spread the gospel to every corner of the earth, the General Council of the Assemblies of God Nigeria, Restoration Cathedral, Umudike/Umuariaga, situated in the heart of Ikwuano Local Government Area of Abia State, is set to host the 2023 October enlargement programme under the theme: “Atmosphere of Glory – Everything is Possible!” This spiritual initiative aligns with scriptures such as Mark 16:15, Romans 1:16, and Matthew 4:19.
The October enlargement programme is a nationwide soul-winning campaign organized by the Assemblies of God Nigeria, aimed at expanding the kingdom of God. This program presents an unparalleled opportunity for the church to engage in evangelism and outreach on a grand scale.
Under the leadership of Rev. Ikemdinachi Steve Okoro, members of the Restoration Centre have diligently prepared for this divine mission, putting in place all the necessary arrangements for a successful evangelistic campaign.
As part of their meticulous planning, the church has invited esteemed leaders from the Assemblies of God, who will minister in alignment with the vision of the Founding Fathers of the church.
The October enlargement program spans five Sundays, and its central focus is to bring souls to Christ. Both the church and the kingdom of God are poised to experience significant growth during this spiritually charged period.
The Restoration Cathedral has strategically positioned itself to have a substantial impact not only within the university environment but also throughout Ikwuano Local Government Area. The campaign kicks off on September 30th with a powerful sermon by the former General Superintendent, Rev. Dr. Chidi Okoroafor, and continues through the first Sunday of October.
On subsequent Sunday, the serving General Superintendent, Rev. Dr. Abel Amadi, will take the pulpit, followed by Rev. Ogboso Ejindu and Rev. Alozie Young, each bringing their unique message of hope and salvation.
The grand finale of the October enlargement program will be led by Pastor David Egu, ensuring that the campaign concludes on a high note.

While the October enlargement program is a national initiative, the Restoration Cathedral, Umudike/Umuariaga, has chosen to adapt the campaign to its unique strategic location.
