Labour Party candidate for the Bende Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives, Dr. Chimaobi Desmond Anyaso (Ofuji), has donated a fully equipped ambulance to strengthen emergency healthcare delivery across the constituency.
The donation is aimed at improving emergency medical response and ensuring timely access to healthcare services, particularly for residents of rural and underserved communities.
In a statement released by his media team, the ambulance will be deployed across Bende Federal Constituency to provide prompt emergency transportation for patients and support efforts to reduce delays in accessing life-saving medical care.
The statement described the intervention as another demonstration of Anyaso’s commitment to the health and well-being of the people of Bende.
“This latest intervention reflects his unwavering commitment to the health, safety and welfare of Ndi Bende. The ambulance will soon be deployed to provide emergency medical services across our communities, helping to save lives when every second counts,” the statement said.
Speaking on the donation, Anyaso said quality healthcare should be accessible to every resident, stressing that effective leadership should be measured by practical initiatives that positively impact people’s lives.
He noted that the ambulance forms part of his broader vision of building a healthier and safer Bende through sustained investments in critical social infrastructure and community development.
Residents and stakeholders across the constituency have welcomed the donation, describing it as a timely intervention that will enhance emergency healthcare services and improve medical response, especially in communities where access to ambulance services has remained limited.
The donation adds to Anyaso’s growing record of philanthropic and community development initiatives, further reinforcing his commitment to improving the quality of life of the people of Bende ahead of the 2027 general elections.
