Abia Oje -Oje Youth Movement Launches Out,Adopts Ikuku As Sole Candidate For Ikwuano/ Umuahia Fed Constituency

A  Pro group under the aegis of Abia Oje-Oje Youth Movement, has adopted the Speaker of the Abia State House of Assembly,Rt Hon Chinedum Orji,as the sole candidate for Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constituency seat in the forth coming elections.
The group in an interaction with Newsmen in Umuahia, adopted the Abia Speaker as their sole candidate and described him as a seasoned legislator, who has excelled in the three core duties of a Lawmaker.
According to the Leader of the group,
Agunwanyi Doris Ogala, noted that the Federal House of Representatives (NASS), is not a training ground for amateurs, disclosing that the Abia Speaker has gathered a robust legislative experience that stands him out among other candidates, making him the best candidate for the Representative seat.
Giving further insight why the group adopted the Speaker, she revealed that the transformation of the Abia State House of Assembly complex, the various human capital development programmes of the Speaker, Constituency projects scattered across his Constituency, his ability to maintain a peaceful relationship with the executive arm of Abia State government, accessibility, humility,as well as his benevolence, place him miles ahead of other candidates for the position.
The founder of the movement, however said that the Abia Oje-Oje Youth Movement as part of her support to the Abia Speaker to advance his democratic dividend, would be rolling out a door-door campaign for the election of Engr. Chinedum Orji for the House of Representatives seat come 2023.
Recall that the group which centered on giving a new meaning to youth participation in politics,is at the heart of forming a youth structure for good governance and as well, projecting right candidates for the 2023 polls.
The immediate past Special Adviser to Governor Okezie Ikpeazu on Creative Art, Culture and Tourism, Agunwanyi Chief Doris Ogala, has come with Abia Oje-Oje Youth Movement to breach the gap in active female youth participation in politics which for so long has been dominated by the male folk, while the ladies/girls are left out till they get older to join the women groups.
Abia Oje-Oje Youth Movement is providing the structure to politically nurture young ladies and create the needed awareness for this demographic that has hitherto been overlooked in the political scheme of things. Studies have however shown that there are more young people than any other age group and the young people are more of the female than male. Also, studies have put the ladies as more dedicated, more committed, driven more by passion than pecuniary interest and are more loyal than their male counterpart.
