The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists, NAWOJ, Abia State Chapter has congratulated Dr. Alex Otti on his election victory and successful inauguration as the 5th democratically elected governor of the state.
Describing Governor Otti as a seasoned technocrat, the association noted that the governor would bring his wealth of experience in the governance of the state.
In a release jointly signed by the Chairperson Comrade Josephine Ogwo and the Secretary Comrade Sally Anyaso, the association also expressed her profound gratitude to the Governor on the appointment of former Chairman of the state council of NUJ, Comrade Hyacinth Okoli as the Acting Director General, Broadcasting Corporation of Abia (BCA).
The Association noted that Comrade Okoli’s appointment is well deserved and a step in the right direction.
While congratulating Comrade Okoli, Abia NAWOJ, described him as an impeccable professional with high intellectual depth and experience and expressed optimism that he would take BCA to an enviable height and prayed God to grant the present administration led by Dr. Alex Otti lots of successes and breakthroughs as it steers the ship of the state to greater heights.
