Abia first lady condoles the Amanamba families over the demise of their patriarch

The wife of Abia State Governor, Mrs. Priscilla Otti has condole the family of Barrister Akudo Amanamba over the demise of her husband Dr. Chinenye Amanamba who died on 24th April, 2024 at the federal medical centre Umuahia, after a brief illness.

The Governor’s wife who attended the funeral service at St. Paul Methodist Church Amaogwugwu, Ohuhu in Umuahia North Local Government Area of the state also advised the family to bear the irreparable loss with fortitude and trust God to comfort them.

Mrs. Otti, represented by the wife of the Deputy Governor, Mrs. Adaeze Emetu described Dr. Amanamba as one who saw his profession as a call from God and uses his talent as a medical doctor to serve and advance the cause of humanity without boundaries, will be greatly missed by all.

In a sermon, the Methidist Bishop of Umuahia East Diocese, Reverend Ikechukwu Nkulo said that it is very important to know that while we are yet alive God want us to fulfil his purpose on earth.

Bishop Nkulo, advised all to trust God and live for him, adding that anytime anyone decided to move without God, such fellow is bound to fail because all power belong to God.

In their tributes, the Nigeria medical association, Ezeugo medical clinic, Government College Umuahia old boys association, and University of Nigeria Nsukka medical class of 1979, expressed that Dr. Amanamba was a scholar and an accomplished medical doctor who served God and humanity through medical outreach and services.

The deceased was survived by his wife Barr. Akudo Amanamba, children, grand children and a host of other relatives.
