The event, themed “Praise Without Limits,” was organised by Enyimba City Youth as a thanksgiving platform to appreciate what participants described as notable progress in governance, infrastructure and public service delivery in Abia State over the past three years.

Participants drawn from Aba North, Aba South, Obingwa, Osisioma, Ugwunagbo, Ukwa East and Ukwa West local government areas joined clergy, community leaders, political stakeholders and gospel ministers in the worship session, which began at noon and lasted for five uninterrupted hours.
Speaking at the event, the Chief Organiser and Special Assistant to the Governor on Youth, Hon. Onyebuchi Chukwu, said the gathering was aimed at expressing gratitude to God for peace, stability and development in the state.
He said the programme was not political but a demonstration of appreciation for leadership that, according to him, has restored public confidence.
“Today is about gratitude. We are here to thank God for His faithfulness to Abia State and for leadership that has rekindled hope among the people,” he said.
Chukwu added that youths across the state have observed improvements in governance and infrastructure, noting that the event was also a call for continued unity and support for development efforts.
Also speaking, the Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Abia State Chapter, Rev. Ojo Ojo Uduma, commended the initiative, describing it as a positive expression of gratitude and unity among young people.
He said the involvement of religious leaders highlighted the importance of prayer and thanksgiving in sustaining good governance and social harmony.
Similarly, the Commissioner for Sports and Youth Development, Hon. Sir Nwaobilor N. Ananaba, described the programme as a constructive initiative that promotes civic engagement and collective celebration of progress.
In a sermon-like exhortation, the President of Living Word Ministries, Bro. Emma Okorie, compared Governor Otti’s emergence to the biblical story of King David, describing it as a reflection of divine selection and purpose.
The event featured worship, prayers, and songs of thanksgiving, with participants offering intercessions for peace, prosperity and continued development in the state.
It ended on a note of celebration as attendees expressed appreciation for what they described as three impactful years of leadership under Governor Otti.
