Prominent Politicians Across Party Lines Commend Governor Otti, Endorse Him for a Second Term

Prominent politicians across different party lines have commended Abia Governor Dr. Alex Otti for his developmental projects and infrastructural improvements in the state. This culminated in their endorsement of him for a second term in office. Among the attendees were distinguished figures from various political parties, whose commendations highlighted the governor’s impact on the state’s progress.

 

Distinguished Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe, representing Aba South Senatorial District under the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), expressed confidence in Governor Otti’s continued leadership. During a recent visit with his wife to the governor, Senator Abaribe noted, “I see no stumbling block to Governor Otti’s second term in office considering the good works he has done across the state.” He emphasized the importance of governance over party politics, stating, “We have gone beyond party; we are now at the point of governance.”

 

Senator Abaribe commended Otti’s achievements in improving infrastructure in Aba and pledged to support the governor in commissioning several projects within his senatorial zone. “The work he has done in infrastructure is commendable. I am here to encourage him to continue in the path he has chosen,” he added.

Senator Abaribe further said, “Let me say this, I come from Aba; he has done tremendously well in infrastructure. I have driven around, I have seen everything. All I want to do is to continue to encourage him to continue in the path that he has chosen.”

 

Chief Daniel Chimezie Okeke also expressed unwavering support for the governor. Chief Daniel Chimezie Okeke, Ph.D., the APC House of Representatives candidate from the 2023 elections, declared that the forthcoming second-term election would be “stress-free” for Otti, citing the governor’s outstanding contributions to the state. Okeke remarked, “I wasn’t proud to be an Abia man before, but now I can raise my shoulders high because of what you are doing in Abia.” He highlighted ongoing renovations of healthcare centers and road infrastructure improvements as vital undertakings that showcase the governor’s commitment to the well-being of Abians.

 

Former Hallmark Bank CEO and APC chieftain Chief Mark Wabara also commended Otti’s effectiveness as a leader. He acknowledged the governor’s focus on various sectors, reiterating that the impressive work done is certain to resonate with voters when the time for reelection arrives. He further stated that Abians and Nigerians are very impressed with Dr. Alex Otti’s performance so far.
