Speaking during the event, Governor Otti emphasized that the newly inducted members have been collaborating with his government since it’s inception.

He clarified that their decision to join the Labour Party was not motivated by financial incentives, but by a shared vision for effective governance.

“I want to put on record that the two gentlemen that just declared their membership of Labour Party have actually been working with us. They are not working with us for any pecuniary reasons.

Immediately after our inauguration, I convened a meeting with all the members of the assembly and I used that opportunity to introduce to them the kind of government we intended to run.
