Ikpeazu Welcomes The First Baby of The Year Master Kamsiyochukwu Uba

Abia State Governor’s Wife, Mrs Nkechi Ikpeazu has visited the first baby of the year at Federal Medical Centre Umuahia, and presented him with gift items. The baby, Master Kamsiyochukwu Uba, was born at exactly 12 : 01 am  01/01/2021, and weighed 3. 1 kg at the point of delivery.

At the FMC, the Governor’s wife said it is a thing of joy to her to welcome the first baby of the year into 2021, after a turbulent 2020.

According to her, “just as we have always been doing, we pay the hospital bills of the first baby of the year and donate gifts items to others born within the first of every year.

While the Governor’s wife prayed for the baby, she called on the parents to devote maximum time in the up bringing of the baby with good morals in such a way he should not depart from it.

In his remarks, the Chief Medical Director, Federal Medical Centre Umuahia, Dr. Azubuike Onyebuchi, thanks the Governor’s wife for her magnanimity and always choosing FMC, for her visit.

Meanwhile, the father of the baby, Mr. Nkemdirim Uba, who hailed from Nnewi South in Anambra State, could not hide his joy but thanked the Abia Governor’s wife for paying the hospital bills of their child and donating gifts to them.
