Parents and guardians including the government have been called upon to invest in children and the youths with the view that they are the bastion of hope and future of every nation.
The Speaker, Abia State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Chikwendu Kalu who stated this in a felicitation address made available to newsmen to mark this year’s Children’s Day celebration all over the nation disclosed that the future of every nation is predicated on the investments on children and youths, who are the bastion of hope, prosperity and development.
“As Abians, we owe ourselves the responsibility of ensuring that the standard bearers of tomorrow are put on the right track in all areas of life”, Kalu stated.
He said the administration of Governor Okezie Ikpeazu has consistently put in place a thriving environment for youths to develop towards ensuring a better and brighter tomorrow.
The number three citizen of Abia State, therefore, felicitated with Abia children and urged them to strive for excellence in the fear of God, hoping that they will all succeed in all good things.
