Ututu Community Honours Abia Lawmaker, Ukoha, with An Award of Excellence

The Minority Whip/member representing Arochukwu State Constituency Abia House of Assembly, Hon. Dr. Mike Ukoha, has bagged an Excellent award as the ”Ugochinyere Ndi Ututu”, from the Aba Branch of Ututu Development Association.

Speaking at Aba, on Saturday 19th November, 2022, the Chairman of the occasion, Elder Chief Okafor Kalu Okafor and the supervising committee, informed the general public that the award on Hon. Ukoha, emerged from a painstaking and rigorous process after the committee members have examined the Lawmaker’s consistent investment in the life and people of Ututu community.

They urged the Lawmaker to continue in his quality representation and good works, assuring him that they are solidly behind him.

Responding, Hon. Dr. Mike Ukoha, who was represented on the occasion by Hon. Achibe Dike, thanked Ututu people and Aba Branch of Ututu Development Association on the award.

The Lawmaker while giving a handsome donation in support of the award, hinted that the award as Ugochinyere Ndi Ututu on him, will spur him to do more for not only Ututu community but the entire constituency as he has always been doing.

He used the medium to highlight some of achievements to Ututu community which include provision of water borehole at Cottage Hospital Abuma, Ututu, fixing of windows at Ututu Police Station, training of 20 young girl from Ututu at Aba on hairstyles, pedicure and manicure, offering of bursaries to Tertiary Institution students from Ututu, offering of financial support to SS3 students for WAEC registration, among others.

He thanked the Chairman of the occasion, Elder Kalu Okafor, and prayed God to bless every one of them.
