Ukwa-West Stakeholders Woo Electorates For PDP Ukwa Fed Constituency Flagbearer, Nkwonta

The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Ukwa-West Campaign Council led by Abia state Commissioner for Environment, Barr. Samuel Okezie Nwogu, has embarked on a Ward to Ward tour across the Local Government.

The campaign team who moved to sensitize the electorates and woo supports for the PDP flagbearer for Ukwa Federal Constituency, Sir Chris Nkwonta had a crucial meeting with the party faithfuls in five wards of the council.

The team which started with Asa North at Umumauzo council hall, moved to Obokwe at the ward Party secretariat, Ogwe at Obiahia Council Hall, Asa South at Umuodeke council hall Umuaka Asa and finally Ozaa Ukwu ward at Umuadienwe Council hall, Ama Ukwu Ezi.

Speaking at the event, the Environment Commissioner, Barr. Nwogu, reassured party faithfuls across the wards of the commitment of the leadership of the PDP Ukwa West and Abia State toward ensuring that dividends of democracy gets to the people of Ukwa-West.


He urged them to remain consistent and supportive to the Party and ignore all the mushroom parties whose stock in trade is peddling falsehood against the leadership of PDP in order to score cheap political points.

Contributing, the Executive Chairman, Ukwa-West LGA urged party faithfuls to remain steadfast and committed to the party, adding that the party is determined to make more meaningful impact in the area of infrastructure and job creations.

He further charged the party faithfuls to ensure they deliver all 2023 PDP candidates; from Presidential, Governorship, Senatorial, House of Representatives and Abia state House of Assembly member candidates.

He maintained that PDP flagbearers are men and women with capacity, proven integrity and track records which are rare in other parties.

Responding, the people of Asa South, Asa North, Obokwe, Ogwe and Ozaa Ukwu ward reaffirmed their unalloyed support and total commitment to the Party, insisting that they would ensure victory for all the candidates of the Party come 2023 general elections.
