Otti extol Bishop Elekwa at 60

The Governor of Abia state, Dr Alex Otti has extolled the grace of God upon the life of Bishop Chikezie Elekwa, who celebrated his 60th birthday.

Represented by the Deputy Governor, Engr Ikechukwu Emetu, Dr Otti, who spoke at the birthday celebration service held at Holy Ghost Day Bible Church Inc, Umuahia described the Reverend Minister, Bishop Elekwa as a blessing to the state.

He noted that the Bishop’s exploits in the vineyard of God was as a manifestation of God’s Grace and Presence in his life.

The Governor pointed out that the celebrant has through his services to God and mankind, distinguished himself in a special way and prayed God to continue to strengthen and sustain him in all his episcopal and earthly duties.

Dr Otti further assured that the state would continue to identify with men of God like Bishop Elekwa in repositioning the state to ensure a prosperous and good governance in the State.

Speaking on the topic, “The Bundles of Life,” a guest preacher, Rt Rev Dr Newlife Ugochukwu stated that what makes a life weighty is repentance and listed the three ingredients that makes man’s life weighty to include, fruit of repentance, fruit of the spirit and the fruit of righteousness.

The clergyman described Bishop Elekwa as a weighty man.

In his response, the Founder of Holy Ghost Day Bible Church and Chairman, Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria PFN Abia State Chapter, Bishop Elekwa thanked God for what He has done in his life and for what He is using him to do in the life of people.

Bishop Elekwa said that the birthday which coincided
with his 35 years of marriage calls for celebration, in view of the Grace of God that had seen him overcome many things in life.

He appreciated the Governor, Dr Otti and others who came to identify and celebrate with him.
