Nigerian-born Nurse Shortlisted for International Prestigious Diabetes Nursing Award

A Nigerian-born diabetes specialist nurse, Christabel Chinonso Uluocha, from Abia State, has been selected as a finalist for the esteemed Diabetes Nursing Awards 2024. This recognition coincides with this year’s Nurses Day celebrations.

Christabel, who works at West Cumberland Hospital, successfully competed against numerous talented individuals to secure a spot as a finalist in the Rising Star Award category. Her dedication and passion for diabetes management are deeply personal, as she lost both parents (Elder Mike and Mrs Nma Iheadindu) to complications related to the condition.
