The National President Niger Delta Youth Peace Builders (NDYPB), Comrade Chibuike Emmanuel, has extended his warmest felicitations to Nigerians on the occasion of the New Year.
In a statement, Comrade Emmanuel commended the people for a peaceful celebration during the yuletide season, noting that it is an indication of the growing sense of unity and cooperation in the region. He also commended the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) for its youth development programs, like the Youth Internship Initiative, saying it is a step in the right direction.
Comrade Emmanuel said the NDDC’s programs, including skill acquisition and capacity building initiatives, have been instrumental in empowering youths in the region.
He also praised the efforts of Chief Dr. Dennis Otuaro, the Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), whose leadership has made the Niger Delta region experience a significant reduction in pipeline vandalism and other vices, adding that his inclusive leadership style, which is commendable, has brought peace and stability to the region, as well as engage the youths in productive activities.
“It is heartwarming to see our leaders working tirelessly to improve the lives of our people. By embracing peace, we can unlock the full potential of our region and showcase our talented workforce to the world”.
Comrade Chibuike Emmanuel, however called on leaders to prioritize capacity building, skill acquisition and empowerment programs for youths in the region. “Our youths are the future of our nation and it is our responsibility to equip them with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed,” he said.
Furthermore, Comrade Emmanuel expressed his support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s initiatives aimed at reducing the suffering of the people and improving the economy. He noted that the President’s policies, such as the rollout of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) buses are expected to reduce transportation cost by approximately 60% and help curb inflation.
Emmanuel beckoned on Nigerians to support the President’s efforts. “Let us rally round our leaders as they work to create a better future for our nation. Together, we can achieve greatness and prosperity for all”, he said.
He also called on all stakeholders to work together to build a more peaceful, prosperous and developed region, creating a brighter future for our children and communities.
