Gov Wike Knocks Sen Abaribe, Says He Lacks Integrity

Rivers State Governor, Nyesome Ezenwo Wike has berated the Senator representing Abia South senatorial district, Sen. Enyinnaya Harcourt Abaribe, adding that the federal Lawmaker lacks integrity.

Governor Wike who disclosed this while speaking at the flagg-off of the PDP campaigns in Umuahia, Abia State, revealed how the Senator tricked the party, collected money and joined another party.

The Governor, maintained, that politicians without integrity should not be trusted with the mandate of the people.

“I’m aware because some people didn’t get ticket in one of the Senatorial districts, they went and collected form elsewhere.

“Let me tell you, today we Commisioned a road in Obingwa Local Government Area and I’m sure that person is from Obingwa Local Government”, he stated.

Wike urged the people of Abia State to vote out politicians without integrity, accusing Sen. Abaribe of leaving, even after he had promised to stay with the party and received whopping compensation.

In his words: “He (Abaribe) said he needed some money, we gave him the money today, three later, he left PDP”.

The Rivers State Governor who further described Gov. Okezie Ikpeazu as a man of integrity, urged Abians to vote for him and other PDP candidates in the 2023 general elections.

Meanwhile, the Commissioner for Tourism, Arts and Culture, Barr. Tony Nwamuo has stated that the giant strides of Gov. Okezie Ikpeazu would be a selling point of most PDP candidates.

Nwamuo who further disclosed that Gov. Ikpeazu has performed creditably in Abia to deserve a seat at the Senate, maintained that Ukwa people would vote massively for him and other PDP candidates in the 2023 general polls.
