Enugu 2023: Frank Nweke Jr Begins Ward Campaign, Pledges Improved Security, Governance

ENUGU–The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) gubernatorial candidate in Enugu State, Mr. Frank Nweke Jr, has flagged off his ward campaign, pledging better security and good governance if he is elected in 2023.

Nweke also promised to upgrade Ozalla health centre to general hospital and pay attention to the welfare of citizens.

The APGA candidate, who stated this while addressing the people of Nkanu-West local government area, during the party’s ward tour, noted that the current security challenges in the state was worrisome, noting that an APGA government would come up with better strategies to solve the problems.

At Ozalla ward, Nweke, assured his commitment to bring sustainable development in the state just as he did as a Minister.

He reiterated that his government would keep it simple, by providing basic needs of the people, such as portable water, and power.

The APGA standard-bearer also added that, his government would create enabling environment for small scale businesses to thrive, by supporting petty traders with soft loans.

He pledged to boost agriculture by empowering farmers with conventional farm tools and inputs.

The former Minister also promised to build a general hospital for the people of Ozalla and other rural communities.

While in Akegbe-ugwu ward 1, Nweke urged the people to vote for a candidate of proven integrity and experience who will bring the needed changes in the state.

He said that his administration would make provision for retirement home and monthly stipends for the elderly.

Recounting some of his developmental strides as a three time Federal Minister, Frank Nweke noted that he has created job opportunities for youths, across all walks of life, constructed some roads and enhanced security in the area.
